Request Help

The Forensic Justice Project helps attorneys in criminal cases understand and challenge the forensic and other scientific evidence in their cases.  FJP also helps attorneys to develop sound scientific evidence where appropriate and provides representation for defendants asserting factual innocence.


 

Do I qualify?

To get the help you need from FJP, please be sure that you meet at least one of the criteria below.
We work with:

Attorneys who

  • Represent a defendant
  • Are in a criminal case pending in Oregon, whether pre-trial, appeal, or post-conviction
  • Need help with a forensic issue

Individuals who

  • Have been convicted of a criminal offense in Oregon
  • Are claiming factual innocence
  • Want help with a post-conviction motion for DNA testing
